We are an Australian family-owned business established in the beautiful Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

We have been supplying pure Australian honey in and around the Mountains and Central Tablelands for the better part of the last decade.

In the spirit of reconciliation, BeeTempted Honey acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Seasonal Honey Varieties

Bees roam from tree to tree collecting sweet nectar from the flowers converting this into honey back at the hive. The flavour of honey that is produced will depend on which flower’s nectar the bees have collected. Different areas have different flowering trees at different times of the year. So, the location and time of year are critical for the variety of honey that is available.

BLOODWOOD - Harvested from nectar collected from the Bloodwood tree. It is generally dark in colour and very rich in flavour. This reflects the rich dark red sap that comes from the tree.

STRINGY BARK - Harvested from the Stringy Bark tree. This is a rich full-flavoured honey and is generally dark in colour.

YELLOW BOX - Harvested from the Yellow Box tree. It is light in colour and generally tastes sweeter than the darker honeys.

IRONBARK - Harvested from the Ironbark tree. This is a soft, mellow honey with a similar taste to Yellow Box and is generally light in colour.
